The Essential Bootcamp for New Comers

Intro San Francisco plays a key role in connecting leaders in new management positions, newcomers to our community and lifelong residents ready to plug in. Through a 6-week program, we provide essential insights on living in the city while fostering new friendships and a strong network of colleagues.

  • Participants experience the rich history and vibrant culture of San Francisco and discover institutions and leaders driving them.


  • Classes are offered in winter, spring and fall with approximately 20-30 participants per class.

Intro San Francisco is a six-week program that meets once per week on Fridays. The first five classes are 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and the final class is 3-10 p.m.

Intro San Francisco tuition is $2,000 ($1,750 Early Bird by Dec 31st), which includes materials, transportation, meals, speakers and venues. Employers often fund participant tuition from continuing education or professional development budgets.

  • What is the time commitment?

    The six-week program involves one class per week, held on Fridays. The first five classes are 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and the final class is 3-10 p.m.

  • Where are the weekly sessions held?

    All over town. Sessions are held in a variety of unique locations to acquaint class members with San Francisco's treasures.
