Day 3 - Park City Utah - June, 2026
San Francisco - January 23rd, 2026
Leadership SF is proud to host the next installment of the Alumni Travel Series right here in San Francisco. Our goal is to showcase the very best of our city, including its breathtaking scenic views, world-class arts and culture, globally renowned cuisine, and the vibrant start-up and innovation ecosystem that continues to shape the future.
Tentative Agenda
8:30am: Meet Outside Galleria Park Hotel
Our day in San Francisco kicks off with Irish coffees, invented right here in the city, paired with breakfast from Devil’s Teeth, a shining example of our “Vacant to Vibrant” program, which has helped bring small businesses downtown after the pandemic and sparked the neighborhood’s revitalization.
9:00am - Scenic History Tour
San Francisco is one of the most picturesque cities in the world, and we’ll spend the first hour with a historian on board as we take in some of its most iconic views, from the Painted Ladies to the Golden Gate Bridge.
11:00am - Tour of Innovation Hub
Our next stop will take us to the Dogpatch, one of San Francisco’s most dynamic hubs of innovation. This industrial neighborhood is home to a thriving ecosystem of incubators and startups, and here we’ll get an up-close look at some of the cutting-edge sustainability innovations emerging from San Francisco.
12:45pm - Lunch in China Town + Fortune Cookie Factory
We’ll break for lunch in Chinatown—one of the largest and oldest Chinatowns outside of Asia, where we’ll enjoy an authentic Chinese meal. Afterward, we’ll stop by the iconic Fortune Cookie Factory, the birthplace of the original fortune cookie, invented right here in San Francisco.
2:15pm - Tour of Historic Cable Car Museum
We’ll stop at the San Francisco Cable Car Museum for a behind-the-scenes look at one of the city’s most iconic transportation system, still powered by the original moving cables beneath our streets. Guests can watch the cable cars being repaired and maintained in real time while learning how this historic innovation continues to keep San Francisco moving.
2:50pm: Cable Car / Waymo Driverless Car Ride
A day in San Francisco wouldn’t be complete without a ride on our iconic cable cars or a glimpse into the future with autonomous self-driving vehicles. We’ll split the group in two: half will hop aboard a historic cable car, while the other half hails a driverless car for a truly modern SF experience.
3:30pm - Palace of Fine Arts
Our visit to the Palace of Fine Arts offers a moment to slow down and take in one of San Francisco’s most breathtaking landmarks. Originally built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition, this architectural gem blends classical beauty with a serene waterfront setting.
4:00pm - Fort Pt Museum + Group Picture with the Golden Gate
From its vantage point overlooking the spectacular Golden Gate, Fort Point defended the San Francisco Bay following California's Gold Rush through World War II. Its beautifully arched casemates display the art of 3rd system brick masonry and interacts gracefully with the Golden Gate Bridge.
5:30pm
- Private Viewing of "Dear San Francisco"
We’ll conclude our day in North Beach, San Francisco’s Little Italy and one of its most vibrant neighborhoods, with a private showing of
Dear San Francisco, the breathtaking acrobatic production, followed by an intimate Q&A with the show’s Director. We’ll then head to happy hour at the historic North Beach Restaurant, one of the city’s oldest and most beloved dining institutions.
6:30pm: Happy Hour at North Beach Restaurant
We will wrap up our day in the city at the historic North Beach Restaurant, one of the city’s oldest and most beloved dining institutions, for hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
